Prepare to be an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in primary care for patients of all ages. FNPs deliver care in community-based care systems, private and group interdisciplinary practice settings. Clinical competencies include assessing and diagnosing conditions through the use of tests and procedures, and ultimately developing an evidence-based plan of treatment that may include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
